Wedding Season in Atlanta.. or Everywhere!

I am doing lots of Atlanta trip planning lately. I have tons of friends who are getting married down in Atlanta and I will be visiting Atlanta at least 2 or 3 times during the rest of the year! That's a lot of trips for the remaining 5 months of this year.

Audrey's wedding celebration: August 14
Heidi's bridal shower: November 6
Heidi's wedding & celebration: December 18

Shayna is also engaged but I do not know when her wedding is and Stacy and Seth are also getting married in Arizona next year! Thats a lot of people getting married!

Shawn is coming with me and he is very excited to see all of the things I have been talking about in Atlanta. I am also excited to get to do and see some of the things I miss, most of all, my friends!

One thing I will be sure we do each time we visit Atlanta is go to the Center for Puppetry Arts. It is my favorite thing to do in Atlanta. Rumpelstiltskin will be playing during August, in November is The Nightingale, and in December is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

After the puppet show, you get to go through the museum (which also houses the Sesame street puppets) and you get to go to the workshop where you make your own paper puppet from the show!

Other things we plan to do between these visits include:
  • Visit the Sun Dial Cafe and see Atlanta from a birds-eye point-of-view
  • Visit Decatur & Agnes Scott (and the fun earring store to get new earrings)
  • See a show at the Fox Theater
  • The Atlanta Aquarium
  • Watch the show at the Centennial Park Rings fountain
  • The botanical gardens
  • The zoo

On another note,  I found these very cute shoes online and Shawn surprised me and has ordered me a pair! I am very anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new Toms shoes! I think I will be buying many pairs in the future (especially the sparkly ones)

I can't wait to have kids. I am going to buy these shoes when I do! Tiny Toms!
