Frozen Fruit Salad
This is a recipe from Heidi.... Frozen Fruit Salad (by her grandmother!) I can't wait to try it... Maybe for the office holiday get-together
Ingredients:
1/2 bag mini marshmallows
1 1/2 pints heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons mayonnaise (you cannot taste it, but leave it out if it grosses you out too much)
2 tablespoons vanilla
3-5 tablespoons sugar
2 cans fruit cocktail, drained
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
2 medium jars maraschino cherries
Directions:
Drain all fruit, rinse, and set aside in large bowl. In medium bowl, whip cream with electric mixer (handheld works fine). Add sugar one tablespoon at a time to taste as you whip (My taste calls for about 3 tablespoons, but add more if you like). Add mayo and vanilla and whip for another minute.
Add mini marshmallows to fruit and stir with wooden spoon. Pour whipped cream mixture over fruit and marshies and stir until everything is well blended. Pour into 13 x 9 baking dish and freeze until solid.
Allow to thaw for about 30 minutes before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy!
