Seeing things a new way.. New glasses

It has been about 2 or more years since I have gone to the eye doctor. There is just never enough time, its expensive, and I'm terrified of the puff test. But loosing my sunglasses about 2-3 weeks ago prompted me to reconsider another trip to the eye doctor. Today I had my eyes examined and got a new prescription (-1.75 and -2, whatever that means). It took me an hour and a half to pick out a pair of glasses and sunglasses. Two lovely old ladies in LenseCrafters helped me choose glasses. I kept picking pairs that were rimless and had lots of jewels, but apparently the shapes of those were old lady shapes and the women told me those glasses made me look old. I found one dark brown pair from Prada that I liked, but I was set on having glasses that had jewels. I finally decided on these, by Vera Wang.

The sunglasses I wanted also had lots of jewels on them, but I decided to get the pair below because they had better coverage.
